Passing Coins in the "deposit" to GCC Group

In one of the previous posts I informed about the possibility of the "Deposit" coins that we have on their portfolios into a special account prepared by the GCC. But then there was only mentioned powiedzianych specifics of this possibility. Today there are specifics of this project.

Glossary Console tab GCC wallet

Today promised in my last post glossary tab Console . I think it might be useful for every user of the wallet of GCC. At the moment, these commands are scarce and the pages and groups on GCC Group are in different places. In this post I will try to put in one place all the commands that can assist users to operate a wallet of GCC. I thought that this post will be updated if somewhere there is a new command so that it is always current .. If anyone of the readers will know something else and it seems to me that this might be invited to share the information in the comments under the post. Certainly after checking each command on the wallet will add it to the dictionary.

Updated wallet and commands Console tab

In the last post I wrote about the situation of the GCC as happened to me and my colleague while turning the wallet after a long time. The company essentially at the same time solved this problem by providing a new version of the portfolio, which can be downloaded here . This is version 2.2.3.1. I will say at once that not all have to download this version. They should do those who present the following problems:

• wallet version 2.1.2.0 has been downloaded and opened before 18 July 2017 but has not been synchronized
• not opened a new wallet 2.1.2.0 before 18 July 2017 and after that date - then takes issue with synchronization.

That's one thing I wanted to write. Installation of the new wallet is simple and is done in the same way that I presented already at this blog post  Updating GCC w wallet .

Another thing maybe even more important and more useful Console tab is located in the wallet .. And where to find it? After opening the wallet

1. In the upper right corner of the tab we enter the HELP and develops us a list of commands.
2. Select the first or the command DEBUG.

Opens for us a window as shown in the picture below. This window is very important because here you can get a private key, which in the event of such a situation that took place with me, and which I described in the previous post is of paramount importance. I will say straight away that for instructional purposes I installed a new wallet with a completely new address.

3. At the top of the open window, click on the tab Console .
4. Here you can give commands written into our wallet. For example, you generate a private key or refresh our wallet.
5. This button clears the displayed messages.

In the described under number 4, enter the command  dumpprivkey [WALLET ADDRESS HERE ] . The exact syntax  as save the  shows below. When you type the address and press ENTER.

After you enter this command we see on the screen something like this in Section 8.

6. Here is the message shown by typing the locked wallet. As you can see it does not bring success.
7. Another negative message also occurs when you type the command wallet unlocked but only to dig.
8. Here at the open wallet we can properly execute and get our private key.

After this step, we have your private key through which we can in the event of damage to the computer lob recover his stolen our coiny accumulated on the wallet. And how to do it? Well, at the command prompt, type the command Consli our  importprivkey [PRIVATE KEY ] After this command is executed on a newly installed wallet regain our former address that has been lost. Thus, the newly installed wallet we already had two addresses GCC:

• new address generated during setup and installation wallet 
• old restored given above command.

For a long time I did not write anything about V4M because basically there was nothing to write. Party simply did not work and that's all.

Curiosity on the reinstallation of the GCC wallet

Today, I will say a few words about a certain situation, which took place a few days ago. after returning to work it turned out that the portfolio that was updating colleague. Prior to July 18 was made to update and everything worked flawlessly. I'll just add that there was a great fear because the portfolio did not yet Coins. They Byra on because after the July 20 release time has passed. After opening the wallet and the GCC so only we checked to confirm the addresses of the portfolio. To our surprise, it turned out that the GCC is another address on your wallet and a different address.

This unfortunately is a problem because it is not looking at the place where found anywhere mozaraby enter a new address book GCC. The case began to do all that interesting, but together with the owner of the portfolio began to assert what happened. From word to word, and it turned out that while I was on vacation buddy installed a new operating system. 

Of course, no one did because the database copy and like what if the wallet was not coins. The first idea which came to our mind is whether it is possible to try to find a disk folder or file with the string of GCC. Finding nothing could. A colleague decided to use a different program than the search engine releases of Windows. There are a lot of web pages. After searching drives the program Total Commander turned out that during the installation and synchronization portfolio of some files, among others, the database record on drive C. Additionally, the location can not be found by Windows Search because they are of hidden status. In any operating system directory containing these files may be in different locations. The most important is the first to locate it. In Windows 10, these files are located in the following location

c: \ Users \ NazwaUzutkownika \ AppData \ Roaming \ TheGCC

I will say straight away that my colleague had a lot of luck because the system installed on the new SSD drive and format the old yet. Typically, the system reinstalls on the same disk, and then there is little possibility of recovering the old data. 

Since we already know that the system itself creates its catalog GCC is a lichen looked it up on the hard disk which was previously the system. We went to the least resistance and tan catalog przekopiowaliśmy from the old location to a drive on which the system is currently installed in the same place, or exchanged directories.

After starting the GCC portfolio and check the addresses of the portfolio with the GCC side it turned out that both are the same. Of course, we commissioned a test transfer from the GCC to check if everything is in order. It was Thursday and we received information that it may take up to two days after the weekend so I probably will be able to check if it actually works. 

Honestly now I recommend everyone take a copy of the portfolio even when nothing else on it is not. Or, putting it only as you have the opportunity to send their coins on the GCC. I think that a copy of the database would certainly existed in the case described FOR IN Zemní if there were coins.

On our computer encountered another problem, namely that tried to install a new portfolio for the same user, and it turned out that after installing the address book was different but he can not synchronize. 

Now it will be a longer deal with this in a different way and I will describe in the next post can today.

The effects of the new wallet of GCC

I was not there long enough because I finally had some time off and went to a small urlopik. If it only two weeks but decided for myself that this time forgive all activities associated with work and do not look in the network. 

Today is slowly recovering from the rest, but really a lot of good it did me. During this time, basically wydążyła is one very important thing that is 18 July and change the portfolio of the GCC, but I was prepared for it before the departure. Today is three days after the holiday and after hearing the capabilities of the new mining portfolio, which are shown in the picture below.

GCC portfolio update

I have not written for a long time and yesterday there is a new GCC Coin wallet so I decided to describe the easiest way to update your wallet. The most important information is that we have time to download 18 July . To do this we enter the page  https://www.thegcccoin.com/  after entering the website versions, select the portfolio that we are interested in and click on the selected button specifies which platform you want to set up our portfolio. Up to this point we proceed exactly as when setting up the first version of the portfolio. I described this in post Installing the GCC portfolio Coin Part I - installation and synchronization . Remember to check that charge good versions of the portfolio, the current is 2.1.2.0. It shows the following picture:

1. At this point we see a marked skiff version number of the current portfolio. Once again version should be like in the picture or 2.1.2.0.
2. Of course, when we will have the appropriate choices, click download to save a bundle of files on your wallet.

The next step after downloading and unpacking the portfolio is its transfer to the same location which is located in the old portfolio. It is true that nowhere says that it is required, but it is always safer. Of course, before the security update is worth to make copies of our portfolio.

In the lower left corner we have the latest version of the portfolio. All data on the quantity Coins agree with the old portfolio. In addition, all the settings we had in the old portfolio are retained after the upgrade. Now even just to our security portfolio we remove the old version from your computer and everything should work fine. I'm just in case the new version also made a copy of the database.

The operation is not complicated and if the company claims to have help in faster digging Coins is worth doing. From what he writes in the GCC information after July 18 will not be able to use the old portfolios because you can not use them to make any operation.

Frankly, however, I will say that visually the old wallet liked me more, but these are subjective feelings and surely somehow get over it if digging will be more efficient.

Another important issue
